Not so much a feature as it a shortfall that many apps have… location lying is the problem of users who set their location as your city when they actually live on another continent.
People who do this are normally either scammers or simply desperate to leave their country. They should not be confused, however, with International Daters who are legitimately seeking someone from a different/defined country for a serious relationship – with the plan to relocate to be together. Such users will clearly state in their profile that they are in ‘travel mode’ of where they are based so it is clear that it is not the location set in their profile.
